Gordes is the seat of many cultural events in the summer, including a festival, concerts and numerous exhibitions. The festival takes place during two weeks in August and is a hive of loval activity, jazz, opera and classical music performed in the amphitheatre perched in the cliff. Les Rapieres
...seasonal delights at Les Rapieres

The seasons at Les Rapieres

Off-season holiday let in Provence

Les Rapieres is an especially magical place outside the summer, being well equipped for the colder months with excellent central heating, a roaring log fire and high tog duvets. Winters are typically bright and crisp and we have often enjoyed lunch outside in December and January! Easter heralds the cherry blossom and the spring wild flowers are a sight to behold. Truffles, chestnuts and mushrooms are a lure during autumn and winter and there are frequent festivals through out the year including music, film, art, wine and food.
